Meet our Founder

 

About Taylor

Taylor Hess is an experienced Financial Professional and creative problem solver with a service mindset. Taylor graduated from The College of Charleston with a B.S. in Finance and went to work as an equities broker for E*TRADE Financial Corporation, acquiring his Series 7, 63 and 66 licenses along with Georgia Life and Health Insurance licenses. 

Taylor was soon recruited by a Forbes Top 50 Wealth Management Advisory group at Merrill Lynch, where he served as a Financial Advisor for Merrill and a Senior Retail Banker for Bank of America.

Amid the COVID pandemic, Taylor pivoted and joined a multi-family office in Atlanta, managing private placement and alternative investments for a select group of Ultra-High-Net-Worth families. There, Taylor served as Senior Analyst, managing various development projects, analyzing companies, compiling investor/lender presentations, and leading debt and equity placements for a variety of commercial projects in a wide array of industries and capacities in the areas of Entertainment & Attractions, Government Contracting, Home and Commercial Services, Distribution, Building Products, Automotive, and Commercial Real Estate.

Taylor then served as Director of Mergers & Acquisitions after sourcing and leading an $18 million sell-side transaction in the Pool & Spa Industry followed by three other such transactions, when the lightbulb lit up.

After discovering the overwhelming need of business owners to devise and execute their unique exit plan, coupled with an unfortunately common lack of knowledge of the selling process, Taylor founded StoneBridge Business Advisors, LLC, to serve as a partner advocate for sellers and help them get what they truly want and deserve. StoneBridge was started with the fundamental understanding that business owners know their business better than anyone, but they often get taken advantage of, or intimidated by smooth-talking financial professionals and end up with a raw deal. StoneBridge helps clients bridge the gap between running a successful business and handing over the keys with a smile, knowing they got the best deal possible.

Taylor Hess grew up in Roswell, GA. He currently lives in Florida with his wife and daughter, golden doodle “Lady”, and 2 cats, “Chicken” & “Biscuit”. Taylor, Danielle, Lenna and Lady enjoy traveling, spending time with great people, and being outdoors as much as possible.
